NY Taxi Cab For Drivers and Service Providers - NYC Taxi Free app for iPhone and iPad

This app is a complimentary app to find taxis in New York. This is for drivers to display their location to the customers. Once this application is activated - it will transmit the location to the users. If minimized it will still send location information for a few minutes further. To stop sending location information you can use "Go Off Duty" button.

It also allows the drivers to see Customers who use the
"New York Taxi Cab Riders - NYC Taxi Free" app to call for taxi. You can easily find nearby customers looking for taxi.

We found that your app uses a background mode but does not include the following battery use disclaimer in your Application Description:

This application runs on background mode when minimized to show customers availability of your cab if it is "On Duty".

DISCLAIMER : "Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life."

To conserve battery power - go to "off duty" before exiting the app. Remember it will switch to "on duty" again as you go back to the app.
